Role purpose
The Customer Care Representative is a member of the SHS Griffin Sales Team who proactively manages the business within their Region. Customer Care Reps manage and provide service to both internal and external customers. These customers include, but are not limited to, Management, Sales Reps, growers (customers), prospects, and vendors.
• To enable field staff to increase the quality and quantity of sales calls by providing high quality and timely support, service and information to field sales staff.
• Responsible for managing the business of assigned regional accounts for specific Sales Reps.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of business transactions and pricing of accounts.
• Communicate business program and process information to the field sales staff and customers
• Responsible for order integrity/management, pricing, vendor communication, clearing of shipments (freight questions), assist in claim initiation and resolution.
• Training sales force in all areas of the business including programs, processes, B2B sites, and business procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Management, Sales Representatives, customers, prospects, vendors, and external customers.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Spacer Image
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the Horticultural Industry
- 2 or 4 year degree in business or horticulture
- Experience using Microsoft Office, email, Calendar & tasks
- Excellent follow up and follow through skills
- Very Organized
- Clear speaking voice
- Very good writing skills
