Benchmark Landscape is a dynamic and growing organization that provides Commercial Landscape Installation and Maintenance Services. We are presently servicing the San Diego area from three locations.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator for Commercial Landscape and Irrigation Projects. The Landscape Project Coordinator is directly responsible to assist our Project Management Team (3) with construction documentation and construction management of large scale landscape site development projects. This position reports to General Manager, as well as our Project Management Team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assists Project Managers with Landscape Construction Schedules and an organization and responsibilities matrix at the start of each project.

Assists Project Managers with creating foreman breakout binders.

Assists Project Managers in preparing turnover packages including subcontract scopes of work and contracts.

Assists Project Managers in establishing relationships and communication tools with suppliers / subcontractors to verify all materials, supplies, tools, equipment and personnel are obtained and delivered when necessary.

Compare progress to schedule, compare actual versus budget, check compliance with Landscape plans and specifications.

Assist Project Managers in organizing document control including change orders, field production tracking and purchasing documentation.

Preparing reports and information as requested.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Spacer Image
Understanding of Landscape Construction projects, Landscape Architectural drawings and blueprints, Landscape Construction Plans and Specifications.

Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft office software.

Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external people and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness.

Flexible, adaptive with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

BS in construction Management or related field a plus.
